To my family and friends. I was born in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, and later lived with my parents in Oro Station. I went to public schools until the time to go to high school in Barrie. I went to grade 11. My father suggested I apply for training to be a printer that was offered by the Barrie Examiner newspaper company. I got this apprenticeship training, have my certificate, and had a lifetime job at the Examiner. I retired when I was 65, and later came to live at Allandale Station Retirement home. During my work years I married my wife, Mary, in Barrie, and have moved to several homes for a happy seventy years. Now my wife has died. She fell asleep at night. I am learning to not be lonely. She has used her earthly time. I dream about the things that now occur, and someday will also be mine. Thank you for your friendship.
