This sophomore collection, Poems for An Open Heart, explores peaks and valleys of the three years since the lockdown of 2020 and the subsequent and current events plaguing and pillaging, protesting and palliating the world. Some poems in this collection represent reprieve from the heaviness of the world, others seek to illuminate it for accountability. Each page aims to ignite some hope or, at least, some grace.

Autorenporträt
Anastasia Rose is a poet, professional musician, songwriter, composer, music teacher, and therapist based in the greater Denver metro area. She has used poetry as a catharsis and escape for much of her life and her songwriting blossoms from the words she writes before the music begins to flow. This is Anastasia's second self-published poetry collection and she hopes that her public emoting challenges the reader to think, love, and act in whichever order suits them.
