Welcome to my little book of Poems For Everyday People. Before you read its contents, I have a confession to make; I am not a poet! Thats right. Im a writer but Im not a poet. How can that be, you may ask? Its simple. For one year God has awakened me at 3:15 am to give me a new poem, twenty-five in all. Autorenporträt
Ilena Joy Crushshon is a native Chicagoan born, bred, raised and schooled. A product of the Chicago Public Schools, she was Valedictorian of her class at Englewood High School. She holds degrees from Roosevelt University and Governors State University. An award-winning educator, her students placed no lower that 3rd place in city, state and national speech and writing competitions. She is loved and revered by all that come into contact with her. She attributes all of her successes and accomplishments to her family and to GOD. She is truly a Renaissance woman.
