With her parents divorce when she was five years old, LORI MITCHUM-BURNS grew up without her mother, Carolyn-aka "Pancake." Later in life, the two were reunited, and their relationship has flourished ever since. Lori Mitchum-Burns lives in Drakes Branch, Virginia, with her husband, Carl. She works for the Department of Social Services and has earned an associate's degree in general studies. She previously was an LPN, caring for the elderly. She has five cats and enjoys textile arts.
