(ii)'This is what Giles Goodland, OED Senior Editorial Researcher,Oxford University, (and fellow Ealing based poet) said of a sample of this poetry: "Reading a Lewis Hill poem is like tuning into the English language, a twist of the dial brings you from the bantering voice of a punning sports commentator to what is being whispered a sentence away by someone who knows, (that) you know, and then you find yourself somewhere else completely, and it is your own back door. I recommend this book to all lovers of poetry, language, deep feeling....and puns." '
