The author was inspired and influenced by women she had been in contact with, not necessarily meeting them in person but generally via the internet. If they were on dating websites they generally used pseudonyms in order not to be recognized by anyone who may know them. It intrigued the author as to why they felt or needed to be on those websites in the first place. He wondered about their motives, did loneliness instigate their actions, did they do it just for fun or were they actually looking for another partner or even a discreet lover.

Autorenporträt
Tim Cross is an architect living in Austin, Texas, who studied undergraduate physics and is a trained ecologist. Before turning his attention to architecture, he taught high school physics and worked in the field of environmental science. He served in the Peace Corps and in the late 1970s was the Environmental Advisor to the Government of Fiji. However, throughout all of his adventures, his primary passion has always been to learn as much as possible about this incredible experience that we call life. This book series began as a simple letter to his two daughters, but quickly grew into something quite unexpected. Although Tim is an architect, his books are not about the architecture of buildings. They are, instead, books about personal and cultural freedom, and how the invisible architecture of our universe fully supports each and all of our personal journeys towards freedom. He defines freedom as letting go of those things in our lives that block us from experiencing our birthright, which is living fully within the flow of this infinite multiverse-a flow that is shaped and interconnected with a deeper type of Love. Tim is now at a place in his life where his only remaining desire is to allow for the deepening of his experience with Love. These books are living and evolving records that describe his process and what he continues to learn about living in this amazing and infinite universe.
