In here 21 poems accompanied each by a calligraphy drawing take you on a journey to unravel new facets of life. From the light summer to the inner winter, into the depth of the abyss and back into the light for a new beginning and endless possibilities, these poems let you in just so you know that there is a moving life to be lived inside each one of us. Come along if you dare and allow the words to touch you in whatever way happens. Reach out and look inside to connect with this poetry, the words, yourself and the beings around. I invite you into a world whose very essence is being alive - like you are.
Autorenporträt
Thank you for reading my poetry. My name is Cornelia Steier and I love to explore and live life while often feeling like I don't know how it's done. This journey, we are all living, is my main writing subjects and writing is how I try to grasp the life that we all are. Moved by my emotional rollercoasters, intriguing books, heartfelt life stories of fellow beings, and the profound wisdom of people who lived before me, I stumbled, walked and ran through life, until I needed to pause to catch my own breath. This is when I wondered if I functioned or lived. From this moment on two questions shaped my life: "How to live life?" and "What wakes me every morning?". For now my answers are: "By living all that life is" and "my heart that keeps on beating". So my message is: let's live, because we are alive. In gratitude for you Cornelia PS: I wrote a thank you note for this book on story.one
