This is the second volume of the series "Poetry for my beloved Daughter" by Isis.Amazingly, there is still poetry in a world full of war and chaos. Many poems are written to cope with one's grief or to give declarations of love a special setting. It's a little different for Isis. Her poetry draws above all on inspiration, contentment, happiness and spiritual realisations. In moments of silence and seclusion, thoughts flow like flowers in a wide river and are gently carried to the shore, where they are woven into wreaths by innocent children's hands. And then there are the paintings. Isis is particularly fascinated by paintings by old masters. As there are so many of them, it is particularly difficult to choose the ones that best suit her poems. One of her best friends (and poetess) from Scotland wrote to Isis about her poetry: "The poetical touch that you bring is very individual and inspiring as it seems to tap into a wider field of almost musical resonance and your writing often takes me to a place of Beauty." Isis wants her poems to transport people into magical inner worlds that harbour love and hope. She wants her lines to convey that there is light everywhere in this world that leads out of the darkness. But each person can only decide for themselves whether they also want to see the light or only the darkness. Isis loves both: the radiant energy and warmth of the light just as much as the calming and eternally mystical darkness.
