Autorenporträt
A native of the Peak District, Simon Mold has spent his working life as a teacher of English and Classics and as a singer in some of England's leading choirs. He has published many articles in well-known musical and literary magazines, and has composed a sizeable body of music which is widely performed. Two albums featuring Simon's music have recently been released: The Beatific Vision (on the Herald label), and Hush, Little Child (for Heritage), a CD of Christmas carols. A third, that includes a performance of A Peakland Suite (pp 93-108), is due for release by Heritage in December 2019.
