Richard L. Knowlton is retired CEO of Hormel Foods Corporation, a multinational manufacturer and marketer of consumer-branded meat and food products, and present chairman of the Hormel Foundation. A long-time director of the Horatio Alger Association, he has also served as that organization's chairman and is a member of the Business Advisory Council for the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business, the Eisenhower Medical Center Board, and is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Mayo Clinic.
