This is essential in view of the reported loss of lives of many health professionals all over the world, while treating COVID-19 patients. Since telehealth needs to be operationalised in healthcare practices, it is important that any such solutions comply with the policies of these organizations, related to many related aspects, such as the privacy of patient information, care provision and quality assessment, dispensation of medications, escalation of calls etc. Unfortunately, many organizations need to allow policy deviations in emergency situations and hence such deviations lead to catastrophic failures. This book discusses a methodology to assist individuals in an organization in deviating from policies without causing a disaster.

Este libro es el resultado de la investigación sobre la gestión cooperativa para la salud móvil en el Centro de Investigación de Atención Sanitaria de Asia y el Pacífico (APuHC, designado como Centro Colaborador de la OMS en materia de cibersalud en 2013) en la región australiana de la Unión Soviética, dirigida por el profesor Pradeep Ray, director fundador de este centro entre 2006 y 2015. Aishwarya Bakshi completó allí su tesis de maestría.
