This work is meant to demonstrate how the gifts of a manager can be shown (through policy development work especially) to achieve a fair balance between the potential for success and the conflicts inherent in a given situation. Such management skills influence the delivery of a solution, the quality of final outcome and the satisfaction for those who were seeking a solution. Managers in any business context - in Australia or elsewhere - devise and lead solutions to resolve much the same challenges and rely therefore on similar and at times, identical skills.
