In a context where elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo are often marked by controversy and political crisis, our research looks at the crucial role of Human Rights Associations (HRAs) in the electoral process in Tshopo province in May 2022. This particularly tumultuous electoral period was the scene of political conflicts and popular riots, exacerbating confusion among the population and provincial institutions. Faced with this situation, ADH took decisive action to monitor the electoral process and prevent human rights violations. We have analyzed the actions of three ADHs: AJDDH, NDSCI and Amis de Nelson Mandela in defense of human rights.
