Stanley Hupfeld has been a CEO of American hospitals for almost forty years. He has won numerous awards for excellence in service to the health care field, including the American Hospital Association's Award of Honor. In recognition of his community activities, the nation's first hospital-sponsored charter school was named the Stanley Hupfeld Academy in Oklahoma City. He has an extensive speaking background and is widely published. He married "the girl next door" and they have three married children and five grandchildren.
