"This new book by Professor Zghal deals with a very interesting and topical subject. It is about political transition and inclusive development, and more specifically about transforming the democratisation process into a lever for development. This is a subject of great importance for many countries around the world, whether developed, developing or emerging. For Tunisia, it is not only central to the issues the country has been facing since the revolution of December 2010 - January 2011, but it is also crucial in view of the challenges the country is currently facing in order to succeed in its economic and social transition... , I would like to say that this book... is an excellent reference not only for teachers, researchers and students but also for political and economic decision-makers at the national, regional and local levels. It is also a mine of information and ideas for anyone interested in the issue of political transition and inclusive development. Extract from the preface by Dr. Tawfik Jelassi
