It is led by the Prime Minister (Predsednik Vlade), commonly abbreviated to premier (premijer). The Prime Minister is chosen by the National Assembly on the proposal of the President who names the designate Prime Minister after talks with all parliamentary leaders. Ministers are nominated by the Prime Minister and confirmed by the Parliament.
