The present study aims to assess the efficacy of polyherbal mixtures in combating glycerol-induced nephropathy in diabetic rats. The study's objectives include inducing type 2 diabetes mellitus in normal rats using Streptozotocin-Nicotinamide, inducing nephropathy through glycerol administration, confirming diabetes by measuring fasting blood sugar levels, and evaluating renal profile parameters such as serum blood urea nitrogen, creatinine, serum urea, serum uric acid, total protein and albumin levels, as well as urine output in rats.
