El autor tiene un doctorado en bioquímica clínica y trabaja como profesor en la Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Tabriz. El Dr. Dolatkhah también tiene un laboratorio de diagnóstico médico. Sus áreas de interés de investigación incluyen: trastornos gastrointestinales, estrés oxidativo, ácidos grasos insaturados y apoptosis.
