Colorectal cancer is widespread and is the 2nd leading cause of cancer death worldwide according to GLOBOCAN 2018. Approximately 80% of colorectal cancers are sporadic and develop in pre-neoplastic lesions, the adenomatous polyps, which are accessible to early detection and treatment.Endoscopic polypectomy is the treatment of choice for these lesions, allowing both their removal and histological analysis of the resection pieces. Nevertheless, does endoscopic excision of colorectal polyps always allow complete resection with healthy resection margins? The aim of our work was initially to analyze the different modalities of endoscopic treatment of colorectal polyps, according to the endoscopic characteristics of the polyp according to the PARIS classification, and according to the technical platform available. In a second step, we studied the efficiency of this endoscopic resection, while referring to histological examination with study of the margins of exeresis of the recovered polyps, and the rate of recourse to surgery.
