Michael Derry is an American artist, illustrator, animator, and writer. His work has been featured in movies, TV, Netflix's "The Get Down," books, magazines, interactive media, games, t-shirts, and toys. His comic strip "Troy" ran for fourteen years in queer newspapers and magazines throughout the U.S., Canada, United Kingdom, parts of South America, Australia, on LOGO's news site, 365Gay.com, and has been published in seven different collections including "Troy: The Whole Shebang" also available on Amazon. The strip was adapted into the animated short "Troy: Naked Boys Behind Bars, Sing!" He lives in Los Angeles with his super hero partner and two dogs.
