Sylvia Renfro grew up in Needles, California (pop. 6,000) and has never lost her affection for small towns. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in journalism in 1985. While covering a writer's conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico, she discovered the wonderful world of romance novels. She has been hooked ever since.
