It is a first attempt to understand distribution of genetic diversity of Juniperus seravschanica Kom. in Kyrgyzstan. I hope, in this book readers will understand biology, ecology and genetic diversity of juniper in Kyrgyzstan as well as in neighbouring countries. One needs to keep in mind, that present situation with climate change and anthropogenic pressure on juniper forest forced us to investigate genetic diversity of this very valuable tree species in terms of its ecological functions.

Autor

Ormon Sultangaziev was born on 11th of February 1984 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. In 2005 graduaded from Kyrgyz National Agrarian University. Since 2007 works and lives in Vienna, Austria. Married, has two children. Daughter Adinai 4 years old and son Abai 9 month. Scientific interests in Population Genetics and Forest Ecology.
