This book helpful for to study the population dynamics of pigeonpea pod borers in relation to weather parameters, field life-tables and key mortality factors of pigeonpea pod borers. Pigeonpea pod borers viz., H. armigera, E. atomosa and M. obtusa passed through two generations each on pigeonpea during Kharif 2013. The maximum contribution towards generation mortality of H. armigera came from egg stage followed by G. halli in both the generations. However, unknown factors caused the mortality of E. atomosa and M. obtusa. There was negative trend index in first generation in respect all pigeonpea pod borers under investigation. There was significant negative correlation between larval population of H. armigera and maximum temperature, while the larval population of E. atomosa was significantly and negatively correlated with maximum and minimum temperature and beforenoon relative humidity. The larval population of M. obtusa was significantly and negatively correlated with minimum temperature and beforenoon relative humidity.
