Deneke Dana was born on 10 August, 1978 in Selamber, Gamo Gofa Zone; South Western Part of Ethiopia. He attended his undergraduate study at Dilla Univesity. He continued his study and hold MA degree in Human Geography from Addis Ababa Univesity. He is now a lecturer at Wollo Univesity, Ethiopia.
