I am passionate about epidemiology of zoonotic infections that afflict resource poor people. In this book, I confirm the occurrence of porcine cysticercosis in free range pigs in Homa Bay, District of Kenya. Additionally I seek to portray that residents of Homa Bay continue to be exposed to life the threatening neuro-cysticercosis infection. This is despite the fact that there are known preventable measures that are not expensive to implement. I also give recommendations for control of infection with the pig tape worm.

Sou um queniano nascido em Nairobi. Frequentei o ensino primário na Sango Academy e o ensino secundário na St. Mary's school, em Yala. Tenho um mestrado em Epidemiologia e Economia Veterinária pela Universidade de Nairobi. Atualmente, dou aulas enquanto faço o doutoramento em Epidemiologia Veterinária na Universidade de Nairobi.
