Autorenporträt
Debi Moon is a mother of three adult children, a grandmother of three, and a proud dog owner of champion Brittany Spaniel, Luna. As a journalist with over twenty-five years of experience, Debi was inspired to create children's books when she saw the connection between training Luna and elements of raising a child. Writing provided solace when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Debi credits the birth of her first grandchild, Porter, with keeping her spirits lifted during this difficult season of life. When Porter and his new baby sister were set to take their first plane ride, Debi couldn't find a book to help prepare them, so she wrote one.
