This book is the result of the authors' work during the development of the MSc in Strategic Project Management European (MSPME).This study describes how Business Incubators (BIs) and Venture Capitals (VCs) in Sweden manage their New Venture projects portfolios in issues such as selection, prioritization and monitoring & control. The analysis seeks primarily to identify the role of Business Incubators and Venture Capitals in the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) process, and also seeks to find whether tools outlined in the literature are often used in practice.The authors wish to acknowledge the great contribution to this work of their thesis supervisor, Thommie Burström (PhD), from Umeå school of Business at Umeå University (Sweden)
