The present essay is a compilation of pseudo-scientific ideas and essays on some science topics and an attempt to generate some physical-social analogies. Probably the introduction of the concept of the quantum Zeno effect applied to journalism is the most valuable part of this paper. I try to address issues related to science policy issues in Mexico and therefore the way in which resources are or should be spent, resources that, by the way, unlike the universe or human stupidity (as Albert Einstein said), unfortunately, are not infinite.
