Frank D. Ferrari, Ph.D. (1974) in Oceanography, Texas A&M University is Research Zoologist and Curator in the Department of Invertebrate Zoology, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution. In addition to development, Ferrari also studies copepod taxonomy and distributional ecology. Hans-U. Dahms, D.Sc. (1997) in Zoology, University of Oldenburg, is a visiting biologist in the Institute of Marine Biology of NTOU (Keelung). Besides various aspects of aquatic biology, Dahms studies copepod development with a focus on nauplii and life histories.
