This book addresses the HIV/AIDS prevention issues in Kenya. The Ministry of Education has introduced HIV/AIDS education programmes in schools, colleges and tertiary institutions to curb the scourge. The book focuses on the inadequacy of the results of the programme in regard to achieving the desired behaviour change. Through quantitative and qualitative data analysis, the author observes that there is need to increase the level of awareness among young people in order to correct their HIV/AIDS myths. This book is very resourceful to teachers, students, parents, HIV/AIDS researchers and Ministry of Education policy makers worldwide.
