Postpartum hemorrhage is the most common complication of childbirth. It is the leading cause of maternal mortality in most developing countries, including Cameroon. Their diagnosis is clinical but often difficult. Treatment is delicate and multidisciplinary. In spite of the initial management, some patients develop complications. The objective of our work was to study the epidemiological, clinical and therapeutic profile of postpartum hemorrhage in three referral hospitals in Yaoundé. Our work is a prospective study including all deliveries who presented with postpartum hemorrhage, and who consented to participate in the study in the maternity wards of the Yaoundé Gyneco-Obstetric and Pediatric Hospital, the Yaoundé University Hospital and the Yaoundé Central Hospital; during the period from December 20, 2017 to April 30, 2018.
