Besides these Saint Martins island, Kuakata sea beach, Rangamati, Bandarban, Kaptai lake, Paharpur, Temple of Kantazi, Sylhet tean garden, Ratargul swamp forest, Uttara Gonobhaban Natore, Bagerhat Shat Gumboz Mosque (UNESCO World heritage) etc are the famous travel destination of foreign and domestic tourists. Every year million of foreign and domestic tourists visits Bangladesh. There is a significant potentiality of tourism industry Bangladesh, but the strategies taken by the both Government and private firms engaged to tourism industry are not quite enough to accelerate the tourism business. This work is an academic writing aim to evaluate the current (till 2017) strategies undertaken in tourism industry of Bangladesh and to recommend the appropriate policy.
