The present investigation captioned "Potentials of Mimosa hamata Willd. as a Source of New Drugs" has been presented in different sections. In the present study, Mimosa hamata Willd. has been selected for its germination, tissue culture and phytochemical evaluation along with the selected biological activities, both in vivo and in vitro . The present research work is based on important medicinal plant of the herbal remedies, its botanical, pharmacological, phytochemical and in vitro aspects anticipating its possible value in medicinal system and authors are hopeful that this work will be useful for teachers, students, researchers and various pharmaceutical workers.
