Implementation of environmentally sound management strategies for waste disposal will clearly be one of the greatest challenges of poultry industry in the next decade. If proper attention is paid to nutrient management of poultry wastes, they can be used as manure and adaptable to a wider variety of cropping system. Loss of ammonia from poultry wastes not only reduces the manurial value but also causes pollution. Agricultural operations and agro based industries generates huge quantity of carbon rich waste materials which are very stable in nature because of high lignin and cellulose content. Hence it takes long time for decomposition and pose disposal and environmental problem. Mixing of these two wastes would solve the problem of poultry and carbonaceous wastes.
