Acan, Ali Ramlat received her Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from United States International University-Africa in Nairobi and Masters of Science in Business Administration specializing in Business Development and Internationalization from Umeå University in Sweden. She has recently been involved in working with teams of practitioners in conducting monitoring and evaluation of various international organizations.

Se trata de su primera publicación, escrita inicialmente como tesis de máster en la Universidad de Umeå (Suecia), centrada en la búsqueda de soluciones prácticas a los problemas recurrentes y desatendidos a los que se enfrentan los directivos en la configuración de "matrimonios de conveniencia".
