Chad is not only a country divided by so many internal and inter-community conflicts, but also dominated by France and, internally, by a clan minority. This dual domination, which to this day relies on French armed forces and Sudanese mercenaries, is structured and rooted in organizations that are at once military (the clan army), social (regionalist and clan structures), political (regionalist and clan structures) and economic (trade based on regionalism). This dual Franco-clan domination makes use of a system of predation, which ranges from the conquest of national territory and the plundering of natural resources on the one hand, to the looting of funds and public and private property on the other. This domination is essentially characterized by state terrorism on the one hand, and nepotism, discrimination and social, political and economic inequalities on the other. To free themselves from this double domination, the Chadian people must engage in a relentless struggle.
