Holli Kenley is a California State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a California Licensed Teacher. She holds a Masters Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling. She first became interested in promoting the wellness of others in the early 1990s by volunteering time to lead support groups for women struggling with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD). This experience was the motivation behind her first book, The PMS Puzzle, as well as the impetus to return to graduate school to become a licensed therapist. Holli has worked in a variety of settings: a women's shelter and transi-tional housing, a counseling center, and in private practice. Counsel¬ing with adolescents, teens, young and older adults, Holli's areas of special training and interest include sexual trauma and abuse, betrayal, addiction, codependency, and cyber bullying. Holli is the author of numerous published articles and several books including Breaking Through Betrayal: And Recovering the Peace Within, 2nd Edition (2016), Another Way: A Novel (2015), Mountain Air: Relapsing and Finding The Way Back...One Breath at a Time (2013), and Cyber Bullying No More (2011). In the field of psychology, Holli is a nationally recognized author, speaker and workshop presenter. She has been five-time peer presenter at the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists' Annual State Conferences, speaking on Cyber Bullying, Betrayal, Relapse, and Sexual Abuse Recovery. Holli has appeared on over one hundred podcasts and is a frequent TV guest speaking on issues of wellness. Prior to and during her work as a therapist, Holli taught in public education for thirty years. Holli and her husband reside in the mountains of Arizona.
