Richard was born in the small town of Fruita, Colorado. He often entertained his younger siblings and cousins with outlandish stories. After moving to Southern California in the late '90s, Richard found he still had a passion for world-building and storytelling but lacked a proper outlet for his creativity. Richard turned to writing as a way to capture his works. Richard currently resides in Southern California with his wife, Paola, and two kids, Trenton and Kayla.
