The manual of practical analytical chemistry laboratory is a laboratory guideline to all the students of Chemistry Department. According to the material of practical analytical chemistry course, the laboratory activities are directed to understand the preparation of solutions, estimating the solubility of an ionic compound, designing and preparing buffer, the extent of hydrolysis of salts, gravimetric analysis, standardization of NaOH solution, determination of NaOH and NaHCO3 in the same solution, determination of Na2CO3 and NaHCO3 in the same solution, determination of chlorides argentometrically, standardization of sodium thiosulphate using potassium dichromate, standardization of potassium permanganate using sodium oxalate and determination of hardness of water skills as the basic for advance laboratory activities. It is hoped that, this manual may be a guideline to improve students' laboratory skill especially in analytical laboratory work. We do assume that the students will be aware of all the designed experiments and can able to develop their analytical laboratory skills and knowledge.
