1654. It is sufficiently evident by the preceding Epistle, and by many other arguments, that the ensuing sermons were preached by Mr. John Cotton, whose name is so deservedly precious among the Saints of God that it cannot but encourage them to read them and they were printed for the public good. Due to the age and scarcity of the original we reproduced, some pages may be spotty, faded or difficult to read. Written in Old English.
