This book will not only deal with the analysis of nutraceuticals, but will also focus on the extraction and purification of the analytes using newer tools/instruments. It will also help the analyst during the actual estimation of these compounds from different matrices.

Dr. Supradip Saha is presently senior scientist in the Division of Agricultural Chemicals, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi (IARI). He possesses 16 years of research experience in analytical chemistry, nutraceuticals and natural product chemistry. He was involved in extensive and intensive research on development of potent nutraceutical molecules such as anthocyanin, carotenoids, phycocyanin, capsanthin, capsaicinoids, steviol glycosides, ellagitannins etc. His IPR related achievements includes carotenoids, triacontanol, pheromone related work. He developed analytical methods using LC and GC coupled with MS for the nutraceutical molecules and pesticides and its synergist. His research work was commercialized to two industries. He was awarded with IARI Merit medal during Ph.D. programme, ICAR Young Scientist and team Award, ISCA-Pran Vohra Award. Dr. Saha's research findings are evident by his credit to several research publications in reputed scientific journals of international importance. He has published more than 70 research papers, 7 book chapters and filed 5 patents.
