This book endeavours to investigate the effectiveness of St Andrew s college graduates of 2004/5 in fighting stigma against People Living with HIV and AIDS (PLHA) in Kirinyaga District (County) of central Kenya. HIV and AIDS is a taught module at St Andrew s College, an affiliate of St Paul s University, Limuru, Kenya. The writer s primary research participants were his past students who studied at St Andrew s College going back over a period of four years. His findings on the multiplier effect of knowledge on HIV and AIDS and up-scaled emphases on prevention strategies among the churches was received as a highly valuable contribution to this area of Study. His institution as well as the St Paul s University benefited from this research leading to the revision of the curriculum. The revised syllabus, as a result, is more focused with deliberate emphasis on reflective practice that seeks to integrate social dynamics with theological teachings. A support program also is being considered to follow up past students for the purpose of testing and improving on-going application of ' acquired knowledge and skills'. The author is adjunct lecturer at St Paul's Univeristy, Limuru.
