Produktbeschreibung
Many organizations focus on producing a product or service, however, an inclusive strategy should involve a strong knowledge management aspect. It is individuals with the highest levels of knowledge that have the greatest potential for value creation in any organization. Effective knowledge management necessitates a major change in organizational culture and a commitment at all levels of any organization. Knowledge management will enable organisations to stay competitive through continuous innovation. There is a need to build a culture of two-way communications to document and share results achieved and best practices to create clear understanding of the direction in which the organisation is moving and to build trust for all members of the organization. This helps to increase motivation and commitment towards achieving organizational goals and values and contribute to organizational success. However, knowledge is often difficult to access and value can be created only when knowledge is placed in the hands of those who act upon it. Therefore, knowledge, being a very crucial resource and product of the organization, needs to be well managed.
