This book attempts to capture varied viewpoints of Green Manufacturing which is one of the important natural inclinations of contemporary manufacturing. The existing knowledge base on this subject is somewhat fragmented and relatively unexplored. This book introduces the importance of this topic followed by definitions, motivations, features, acceptability, linkages and associated issues. It makes critical distinctions in respect of the subject on green manufacturing. It further proposes that the current focus for green manufacturing strategies should provide directions for its adoption and implementation.
