Lynda Mannik, PhD. is the editor of Migration by Boat: Discourses of Trauma, Exclusion, and Survival (2016) and author of Photography, Memory, and Refugee Identity: The Voyage of the SS Walnut, 1948 (2013). She currently teaches anthropology at York University in Toronto.
