Dirk van Dierendonck is Professor of Human Resource Management and Dean of Faculty at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Additionally he is the Academic Director of the Erasmus Centre for Human Resource Excellence. Dirk has written numerous books, book chapters and scholarly articles in major academic journals. With Kathleen Patterson he is the co-author of Servant Leadership: Developments in Theory and Research , published by Palgrave Macmillan. Kathleen Patterson serves as Professor and Director of the Doctor of Strategic Leadership program in the School of Business & Leadership at Regent University, USA. She is noted as an expert on servant leadership, and has co-coordinated three Global Servant Leadership Research Roundtables, in the Netherlands, Australia, and Iceland.
