Joanne Orr has over thirty-five years of experience working in the international heritage field and now works as an independent consultant. She is a trained facilitator and part of the Global Capacity-Building Network for the UNESCO 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Orr's research interests include intangible cultural heritage, the links to global challenges and the potential future role for museums in society.
