James Eade is a Chartered Engineer who has worked in the entertainment industry for over 25 years, covering most genres including touring, theatre, corporate events and permanent installations. As well as providing engineering consultancy services, James was Technical Editor of Lighting & Sound International and Chair of the annual Industry Innovation Awards. He is involved with various trade associations and represents the industry on many national and international standards committees dealing with such standards as IEC 60364-5-55(551), BS 7671 and BS 7909. James also provides electrical safety management guidance and acts as an expert in insurance and legal cases.
