Thus, there is an obvious need to investigate this type of texts from a pragmatic point of view. It aims at studying pragmatically the interaction between the participants of this text and investigating the strategies used by investigators to elicit suspects' confessions as well as the strategies used by the suspects to protect their positions in both languages.

Autorenporträt
Dr. Mohammed is Kurd from Iraqi Kurdistan. He has PhD in Pragmatics from Sulaimani University in 2011. He was an Exchange faculty to Appalachian State University in USA in 2009. He was an Academic Visitor to Aston University in UK in 2010. He is currently the Executive Director for Quality Assurance at Ministry of Higher Education in Kurdistan.
