The present book deals with application of one of the significant pragmatic concepts, that is, Presupposition, to the two of the Absurd plays of Nobel Laureate, Harold Pinter. Pragmatic analysis of The Birthday Party and The Caretaker reveals the facets of Pinter's absurdism, which is widely known as Pinteresque Style. The analysis follows a well defined analyticsl model, analytical structure and analytical process. The venture has come out with concrete conclusions, which focuses on the reading between the lines.
